Au Train Lake is located in Alger County and has 830 acres of surface water with depths up to 30 feet deep. This varied fishery holds Northern Pike, Smallmouth Bass, Walleye, Perch, and a few Rainbow Trout that are sporadically caught during the Spring. If it's exciting fishing and a beautiful view that you seek then look no further for our Inland Charter Fishing business to bring you here. 

Large numbers of Northern Pike roam this lake and they average 24” which is the minimum size limit of this Michigan fish species. There are monster Northern Pike that are caught out of this Upper Peninsula fishery and they keep UPPFC coming back in hopes of landing the 30 pound monster.

Walleye fishing is very abundant because the DNR has been planting walleyes every other year in this fishery to make it more hospitable to its fishermen. Walleye tend to average just under 20” which makes any angler happy when they are in a hitting frenzy.
